Roger Rathbun has a technical
background in mechanical engineering. Mr. Rathbun was
employed by The BOC Group, Inc, an industrial gas company
for about 30 years. During that time he worked for various
divisions, including a cryogenics division that involved
expanders, heat exchange equipment, turbines; a gases
division that included gas separation plants, and a
medical products division that included a wide range
of electromechanical equipment, including medical ventilators,
anesthesia machines, patient monitors, inhalant anesthetics,
flowmeters, valves, hydraulic systems, catheters, IV
devices, and the like.
He received his law degree in 1965 from Georgetown University.
He also received a masters in law from New York University
focusing in trade regulation. His undergraduate degree
in mechanical engineering was received in 1959 from
Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass.
Mr. Rathbun has been a registered patent attorney since
1965 and has written and prosecuted hundreds of patents,
both U.S. and foreign.
